Hydraulic oil dampers from HAHN Gasfedern are closed, maintenance-free elements that are used for the uniform damping of movements, such as those found in feed devices, linear drive units, or hatches. The fixed oil damper cushioning provides reliable damping in the tension direction, compression direction, or in both directions with damping forces of between 5 to 2,500 N. They are also ideal for speed control of tension springs, pneumatic drives, or other linear motion controls. Our hydraulic oil dampers ensure that moving parts do not exceed a specified speed and thus move safely and in a controlled manner across a variety of applications in the furniture industry, vehicle construction, and industrial applications. 

Our special HB hydraulic oil dampers are flexibly adjustable for applications where the exact damping force cannot be determined in advance. And therein lies the main advantage: The damping force can be adjusted directly on site by simply turning the piston rod. HB hydraulic oil dampers can act in either the tension and compression directions or in both directions, thus offering maximum flexibility.
