Adopts a dedicated 32-bit motor control DSP chip and optimized closed-loop control technology;

Input voltage 24–50 VDC, recommended operating voltage 36/48 V;

Maximum continuous output current 2.0 A; drives closed-loop stepper motors of size 42 and below;

Input signal level compatible with 5–24 V; maximum pulse response frequency up to 500 kHz (factory default 200 kHz);

Differential inputs for pulse, direction and enable signals; supports differential, common-cathode and common-anode wiring;

Common-cathode output signals: alarm, in-position, Z signal and brake control; in-position and Z signal configurable via DIP switch;

Microstep DIP setting (200–51200); when all microstep switches are ON, any microstep value can be set from host software;

DIP-selectable single/double pulse, open/closed-loop mode and command smoothing time;

Protections: overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and position deviation, etc.;

The CL2205 pulse-type closed-loop stepper driver adopts the latest dedicated 32-bit motor control DSP chip and optimized closed-loop control technology. Intelligent current adjustment reduces motor vibration and heat for longer service life; high-speed torque falloff is far lower than ordinary open-loop drivers, greatly improving high-speed performance and torque utilization, hence machine efficiency and precision. Built-in in-position, alarm and brake output signals make monitoring and control easy, and the position deviation alarm ensures safe operation of processing equipment. Two 10-position DIP switches support multiple common functions including single/double pulse, open/closed-loop mode selection and command smoothing time, making commissioning easier. Committed to providing customers with cost-effective motor control solutions.

CL2205 DIP switch settings:

1. Ensure correct motor and encoder wiring; otherwise the driver will raise a position deviation alarm after receiving pulse signals at power-on

2. During motor installation, never strike the rear cover to avoid damaging the encoder.
