Stroke 40 mm
Precisely adjustable: The A08 to A25 family products are adjustable and can be matched accurately to a wide variety of requirements. Long strokes (for example, 40 mm on the A2540) produce low rebound forces and therefore a soft damping characteristic curve.
All versions of these maintenance-free, ready-to-install machine elements feature an integrated positive stop. They deliver outstanding service wherever usage data changes, calculation parameters are unclear, or maximum flexibility is required in the application.
Adjustable ACE miniature shock absorbers are dedicated to use by the customer and therefore have a large number of fixed uses in mechanical engineering.

Material
Outer body: Corrosion-resistant coated steel
Piston rod: Hardened stainless steel
Accessories: Corrosion-resistant coated steel
Technical Notes
Note: If a precise end-of-stroke stop is required, consider using the AH limiting sleeve. The damping characteristics are delivered preset to a mid-position between hard and soft.
Safety instruction: External material in the surrounding area can damage the rolling diaphragm seal and shorten service life. Please contact ACE for a suitable solution recommendation.
On request: Nickel-plated or weartec surface treatment (seawater-resistant) and other special surface coatings are available on request.
